"GPS & TNT Potluck"

2009 Valley Oak Garden Tour

Valley Oak Respite Center is held its annual fundraiser, the Valley Oak Garden Tour on Saturday, June 6, 2009.
This self-guided garden tour of private homes in Alamo, Danville and San Ramon was followed by a reception and silent auction.
All proceeds directly benefit the Valley Oak Respite Center, a social day center for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Chapman, a portrayer of Maggie Kuhn (founder of the Gray Panthers), and the

"Senior Summit"

The Diablo Valley Foundaion for the Aging will participate in a "Senior
Summit," a source of "information and advice that can help improve your
quality of life," the Sponsors say. Topics include proper use of
medications, emergency preparedness, avoiding financial abuse, safe driving,
and fitness. Participating exhibitors will provide free refreshments and
